Chapter 16: Through The Trapdoor

Harry hadn’t imagined how he had managed to go through all the exams with the fear of Voldemort coming at any moment to kill him. It was  Quiet a relief for them that Fluffy was still guarding alive as it’s howling sound made them aware when they were on their way near side of Third Corridor. The practical exams were going pretty good as Professor Mcgonagall gave first year the task to transfigure mouse into snuffbox, Professor Flitwick gave them if they can make pineapple tap dance with the charms, Professor Snape Forgetfull potion had given sight trouble to everyone about the ingredients for Potion. Finally, the theoretical examination of History of Magic was last remaining exam. They had to answer long question about batty looking wizard who discovered self-stirring Cauldron . The examination Quill were bewitched anti cheating spell.

After the Examination Harry, Ron and Hermione went to the side of the lake where Ron seemed to be delighted it was the end of the exam as they have only one week left for their results. Harry was rubbing his scar
as it keep on throbbing more than usual after he met the hooded figure in Forbidden forest. Harry had the scary and bad dreams after the long time since his departure from Dursleys. The Flash of green light and man laughing. Hermione and Ron Suggested Harry to go to Madam Pomfrey (Nurse of Hospital Wing) but he denied telling it may be the sign of something bad coming up. Harry was feeling something he had missed. Suddenly he run towards Hagrid Hut telling How could Hagrid meet anyone who was trying to get rid of dragon which was outlawed by Wizard? Chapter 17: The Man With No Face

It was Professor Quirell standing in front of Mirror of Erised trying to get clue to get the stone. Harry was totally surprised to find out Quirell was behind stone all the time as he had always suspected Snape was after the stone. When Quirell sees Harry he states he had wonder about seeing Harry in the room as he had been nosy to him. Harry with shock asked Quirell he thought of Snape trying to steal the stone which makes Quirell laugh. Who would suspect the nervous and stuttering professor Quirell?
Quirell said Snape tried to save Harry in Quidditch game while Quirell was jinxing Harry broomstick with dark magic which fails after Hermione knock out Quirell head in her way to Snape which breaks his eye contact

Quirell brief in disgust tone that Harry had failed his another effort of Halloween where Quirell had sent the troll (as he had gift of speaking to troll)free in the Dungeon in order to get everyone distracted and  to go 3rd corridor and steal the stone where Snape already suspects his activity and reach first where Fluffy bites his leg.
In order to make Quirell busy from stone Harry distracts him with Question about Snape disliking him. Quirell replies James Potter (Harry father) and Snape had been in same year at Hogwarts and hated each other. Quirell tells Harry about his young time world journey Where he find Voldemort whom he believed opened his thoughts “There’s no good things or bad things around the world but only powers those who weak to seek it”. According to Quirell Since, then he had been faithful servant of Voldemort and tried to steal the stone from Gringots which he failed. From then Voldemort had near look towards him and punished him so roughly after his failure. As Voldemort didn’t seemed to like to see failing. But Why did Snape threaten Quirell in forbidden forest which Quirell replies He was the only one to better understand him what was he upto than anyone and warned him to forget about stone asking if he had known to get pass through the Trapdoor.
Quirell seemed to have no idea what to do about the mirror as it keep Showing him he presenting the stone to Voldemort.
